Remember? Or maybe this is your life right now, or will be soon! An artist friend likened these artworks to Mary Cassatt’s and I’ll take that compliment wholeheartily.
Created long years after I last breastfed my own, I hope that these images will spark a memory or help you savor a current moment in your life. All too soon this becomes a memory just for a mother to hold dear. My intent was to capture the treasured bond, held for a lifetime, whether holding, cuddling or breastfeeding your babe. The original artworks will remain in my private collection, yet I longed to share these images. So I set about learning all the tech needed to bring these to life as fine quality art prints. It was very important that I have artistic control so I learned by experimenting how to create these enhanced custom artist prints.
I was intent on creating a special collection of unique prints, even improving over the originals with custom complexion and hair color choices. This is a great advantage in print processes today. The artist can continue creating within the digital files for the prints to become even more, extraordinary works of art.
