“Tanzanite” from the Jewels of Nature Collection is a small size, approximately 5 x 7” mixed media painting on heavy art paper. Choose the option below for me to mount onto a wood panel as with the larger pieces in the collection. Otherwise, I will mount and seal it to watercolor paper with a thin white border as with the smaller pieces in the collection. Tanzanite is a stone of transformation and the colors can vary through the violet and purple range. It was added as a birthstone for December in 2002 and was discovered in 1967 in Tanzania.
