The Marie Collection is a form of alter ego that I explored with my chosen mediums. Marie looks for beauty and joy in her world, even in the tiny bits of everyday life. The transcendental beauty of a leaf, a flower, however fleeting brings joy. The expression of joy flows outwardly as Marie draws strength from turning to the natural world. At her core Marie sees her world as a colorist and this is the art that she creates.
